Our congress co-chairman, Professor Stephen Davis from Royal Melbourne hospital, has been elected President-elect of the World Stroke Organization (WSO) effective as of January 2012. On behalf of the organizing committee of the Sino-Australia Stroke Trials Congress 2012, we extend our warmest congratulations to Professor Stephen Davis. We believe that the WSO will go from strength to strength under the leadership of Professor Stephen Davis.

"Sino-Australia Stroke Congress 2012: Clinical trials and Practice" is endorsed by World stroke organization(WSO)£¬ and co-hosted by Societies of Neurology,societies of stroke,Society of EEG &Clinical Neurophysiology, Shanghai Medical Association and Australian Stroke Trials Network. The conference will be held from the 23rd to the 25th March 2012, in Shanghai. The primary goal of this symposium is to provide a unique platform for Chinese and Australian Neurologists to share their most recent research advances in acute stroke treatment and to explore future collaborative stroke studies. More than 14 Australian and 25 Chinese academic neurologists have been invited as conference speakers. We hope that this symposium will promote stroke research between China and Australia.

Please make sure the abstract(s)(other than titles and authors) not more than 250 words£¨including spaces£©. Pictures and tables are not allowed. All abstracts must consist of four sections: background,methods,results and conclusion.You will receive an email acknowledgement for your abstract submissions within 3-5 business days after your submission. If you do not receive any acknowledgement, please contact the conference organizer via email gaojian4430@gmail.com.
